    • Initiative for a new LGBT organization in Bulgaria

    A new membership organization advocating for the rights of LGBT people is about to be registered very soon in Bulgaria. Its first initiators (in alphabetical order) are:

  • Olga Peytcheva: Volunteer in Plus & Minus Foundation, Varna, dealing with HIV/AIDS activities. She works as an assistant in an American clinical research company.
  • Pavlin Stoychev: Until recently he has been the Chairman of BGO Gemini for one and a half year up to February 2006. Founder and owner of the web gay portal Momcheto.com. He is also the IT Manager of a national TV station and Manager in a web development and design company.
  • Stanimir Panayotov: Graduated in Philosophy at Sofia University (2004), he is recently doing his MA in Gender Studies again in Sofia University. He works as a free-lance translator in humanities. He has also worked for and been an activist of BGO Gemini (2000 - 2002) and later an activist of Queer Bulgaria Foundation (2003 - 2005).
  • Stanislav Dimitrov: Founder and main engine of Tangra Bulgaria Sports Club. A man of good ideas relying on action, and not on much talking.
  • Hristo Georgiev: He has been and activist and member of the Project Proposal Writing Bureau of BGO Gemini. Owner and manager of a web design company.
