Online Radio Idea

Online Radio Idea is now streamed online 24/7.
The Radio the first project of the organisation and is the first LGBT media on the Balkans. It is a part of the "Cultural Center Idea" Project which is to be network-developed at http://www.gay-art.eu. Both the Cultural Centre and the Radio are undertakings of newly established NGO LGBT Idea (http://www.lgbt-idea.org).
Online Radio IDEA is targeted at the LGBT community in Bulgaria and has as its aim to saturate the lack of serious and adequate coverage and reflection of LGBT issues in the media. Being the only gay-oriented media of its kind in both Bulgaria and the Balkans as for now, the radio aims at providing comprehensive information for the LGBT lives in the country, also,, to popularise and support gay culture and to stimulate and establish a communitarian touch of belonging as to motivate people and grant then some certainty to protect their rights.
Radio Idea's programme features music for virtually almost all tastes - going back to rock oldies but goldies through hot world charts' hits to recent and favourite Bulgarian features, trans and techno blocks. Block are being separated within the programme so that everybody is given the opportunity to find one's listening hours. A contract between the radio and copyright / production rights protections organizations is to be signed, such as Musicautor and Profon, and untill no sponsorship is provided licences are to be paid by Bulport Network Ltd.
Also, ongoing is the start of weekly show G7 (A Gay Week), which will not only be streamed online but will be also podcast available. A Program called "Radio Digest" is also prepared, which will feature selected intriguing stuff out of world's best known gay radio and tv channels.Whoever wants to join in any possible way may do so by sending an email to pavlin@lgbt-idea.org We look forward to recruit people for all positions related with this radio's development - authors, reporters, speakers, DJs, etc. All ideas and partnership proposals are highly welcomed.
